Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals.

REACH is the European Chemicals Law and stands for Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals.

REACH came into force on June 1, 2007 and replaces the previous chemical legislation in the European Union. The main aims of REACH are to ensure the high level of protection of human health and the environment. The legislator also wishes to promote alternative test methods and strengthen the innovativeness and competitiveness of the EU.

Under REACH, the importer of chemicals has more responsibility than before for evaluating the use specific risk presented by chemicals and for providing users with the related safety information. Triconor assumes the role of  importer and downstream user and will make sure our product portfolio is complying with REACH. For this purpose, we will cooperate closely with our customers and overseas suppliers and support them as far as possible. Furthermore Triconor will be happy to assist all our overseas suppliers in complying with REACH by acting as a only-representative within EU.
